MEET THE GROUP
Marcus Latrel Holmes
My name is Marcus Latrel Holmes and I was born in Memphis,TN on May 18,1981. I have been writing in some form since I was 21 years old. I used to be in an R&B group called INV. We were once signed to and indie record label in California called AMS Records. I have co-written one feature screenplay and co-written three TV Pilots. I'll be getting my Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice from the University of Phoenix in April of 2023.

LaQuita Langhorn
LaQuita Langhorn, Memphis-native, is an author of over 20 published novels, a screenwriter, director and indie filmmaker. Born on a farm in Mississippi and raised with a military father, LaQuita brings authentic storytelling, stellar character-profiling skills, and a variety of viewpoints tackling important issues in the world. While majoring in Film at the University of Memphis, she has a feature film currently in post production, several scripts in development stage, and multiple DWG projects in development. As a member of DWG, she thrives on collaboration, elevation, and inspiration with goals of pushing the group towards success.

Tommy "TC" Chandler
Wha'ts goin' on? I'm TC! I was born in Nashville, TN and currently live in Franklin, IN. I graduated from Full Sail University with a Bachelor's Degree in Digital Arts & Design. I'm passionate about writing, illustration, animation and everything pop culture. I was a
Semi- Finalist and Quarter Finalist in Stage 32's New Voices in Animation Contest. I've written and designed a pitch deck for an animation series, and I've helped co-write two TV pilots. My mantra, "Live a Why Not lifestyle!"


STEPHEN
Shaw
Stephen Shaw is a creative powerhouse and a valued asset to DWG. He has a degree in Psychology from The University of Memphis. He was also apart of the R&B group INV with fellow DWG member,
Marcus Latrel Holmes. Stephen has helped DWG co-write at least 2 on going projects. When he's not helping out the group, he continues to stretch his creative mind and write his own novels.

Kevin Lee Duckworth
Kevin Duckworth is a kazoo loving individual who is extremely open-minded and has no fear when it comes to pushing limits, especially in the DWG Writer's Room. Before DWG, Kevin "Duck," played and experimented with various instruments. His talent doesn't just reach to the musical realm, but also the film realm. He has proven to be a wizard on the editing table. He has also worked his magic doing sound work on the set of LaQuita Langhorn's film, "The Bodyguard." Kevin has brought his skill of constructive criticism to take DWG's projects to the moon!

Monica "MoneyKay" Parker
Actress/Author Monica Parker is already one of the most talented young authors on the planet. Born in Norfolk Virginia and raised in the historic city of Memphis Tennessee. On March 7, 2014, Monica “Moneykay” Parker, submitted her first full manuscript and went on to sign an author, her author debut was a stunning success as she left editors speechless with a sizzling and steamy saga entitled: “A Hood Love in Memphis.” The book was officially released on June 21, 2014, to local, national, and international market outlets. Her freshman season was truly fabulous and fantastic as her very first professional published product had a triumphant trifecta as her inaugural novel received the prestigious ranking as one of the BEST SELLERS in Urban Fiction, number 7 in ROMANCE and number 18 in African American Literature.

Robyn
Robinson
Robyn Robinson born and raised in Memphis, TN is a writer, producer, and director of short films, feature films, and skits. Her passion is film all together but writing is her calling. She started writing since before she knew what writing was. Robyn has created a virtual competition, written and directed several short films, and put together three concert events that have helped several poverty - stricken senior citizens. She has written 2 books and in the process of writing a memoir/bio of her life. Robyn enjoys everything about film and set life, from pre- production to post-production.
